Surprisingly the first thought about the photo on the home page was not about whether I was handsome enough to be able to display such a monster, it was more about giving you the potential customer an idea of the face behind the scenes. Maybe it will put you off, maybe it won't! After all, if you decide to use my services that's the shape of things here.

Usually with putting one's self out like that comes a perceived wisdom that it's all hot air and not much else. Well let's bang that one on the head because that simply is not the case. Why not give me a ring and we'll have a chat. I'm Irish by nature so that means friendliness comes naturally, mixed in with a light heartedness and propensity for banter. Do not fear though I have strong downsides too, like the drive to deliver perfection and lockable upable attention to detail issues. But of course those are actually strengths when it comes to web design. So when mixed with creativity and a tendency to know what works and what doesn't, may I suggest you have found your ideal website creator bloke.

I must be out of school close to twenty years, that's if I learnt how to count properly in the first place. But coming from a financial background I'd say that is a given. I began in the accountancy world, moved round the banking world but none of it sat right. I think I was looking for a home for my creativity.

I took the plunge at one stage to go self employed in things finance and haven't looked back since. It gave me the spur to try further projects. One of those projects which started in 2006 was bringing myself up to speed on all things web designy. And here I now sit.  My present world is all about starting with a blank screen and the sky being the limit.

The late Steve Jobs in a speech at Standford in 2005 comments:

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
